Effective July 31, 2026
These terms cover your use of ReRack, a US-only online marketplace for used bowling balls and bowling equipment. They're written to be read. If something here doesn't match what the site actually does, tell us at support@rerackbowling.com and we'll fix one or the other.
By creating an account, listing a ball, or buying one, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use ReRack. You must be at least 18 and located in the United States — we don't currently support international buyers, sellers, or shipping.
ReRack operates an online marketplace where independent third parties list and sell used bowling equipment. ReRack does not own, possess, inspect, test, or take title to any item listed on the platform. Every sale is a contract between the buyer and the seller. ReRack is not a party to that contract. Sellers set their own prices and ship directly to buyers.
For payment purposes ReRack is the merchant of record: the buyer's card is charged by us, and the seller is paid afterwards by a separate transfer. That is a payments arrangement and nothing more — it does not make us the seller, the manufacturer, the inspector, or the guarantor of any ball listed here.
Accounts are created and secured through our authentication provider, using an email address or a social login. Keep your credentials to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account.
Selling additionally requires identity and payout verification through Stripe Connect Express. Stripe holds those identity and bank details — ReRack never receives them.
You can delete your account at any time. Order records survive deletion, because we're required to keep them for tax and dispute purposes; see the Privacy Policy.
A listing needs at least 2 photos to publish, and the two ReRack asks for by name are the pin and the finger and thumb holes. The photographs describe the ball and nothing else: ReRack does not inspect balls and does not verify any seller's statement before a listing goes live.
Factory specs shown on a listing come from ReRack's curated, USBC-based ball database and describe the model. Everything specific to the actual ball — condition grade, drilling, games thrown, damage — is the seller's statement, and it must be accurate. Grade honestly against the condition-grade guide and disclose cracks, plugs, and heavy wear in both photos and text.
Buyers can message sellers from a listing. Keep those conversations on ReRack: messages that share contact details in order to move a deal off-platform may be flagged for review, and an off-platform deal carries no payment protection of any kind.
After delivery, a buyer may leave one 1–5 star rating per order. Ratings should reflect the transaction; we may remove reviews that are retaliatory, fraudulent, or unrelated to the sale.
Buyers pay by card through Stripe Checkout. ReRack holds the payment rather than passing it straight to the seller.
When the ball is delivered — a carrier delivery scan or the buyer's “I received it” confirmation — a 48-hour inspection window begins. When it closes, the funds release to the seller automatically.
Amounts are calculated once, at purchase, and frozen onto the order. Later changes to our fees or shipping rates never alter an order you've already placed.
Sellers must ship within 7 business days of payment. We send a reminder at 48 hours. If the deadline passes without shipment, the order is cancelled automatically and the buyer is refunded in full.
Shipping is paid by the buyer, quoted live from the carrier for their ZIP code at checkout, with a flat $14.99 charged when no live quote is available. ReRack buys the label, which the seller prints from the order page; a seller may instead ship on their own and enter the carrier and tracking number. Every ReRack sale ships — there is no local-pickup option.
If tracking never shows delivery within 21 days of shipment, the order is escalated to ReRack support and payout is paused pending review.
A buyer may report a problem at any point between payment and the close of the inspection window, describing what's wrong. Reporting pauses the payout to the seller.
ReRack support then resolves the report by releasing the funds to the seller, refunding the buyer, or dismissing the claim — which starts a fresh 48-hour inspection window rather than paying out immediately. We decide these in good faith on the evidence available, including photos, listing text, messages, and carrier tracking. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
Seller commission is 0% at launch. A seller's payout is the item price minus commission, currently zero. Buyers pay the item price plus shipping.
We may change our fees, and we'll say so before we do. Because amounts are frozen at purchase, any change applies only to orders placed afterwards. Stripe's own processing costs are ours, not a separate line on your order.
We may remove a listing, suspend an account, or close it outright for breaking these terms — most often for misrepresented condition or for pushing a sale off-platform. You may close your account at any time. Orders already in flight run to completion either way: held money is still released or refunded on the normal rules, because neither side should lose a paid-for ball to an account action.
The service is provided “as is.” We don't warrant that a ball will match a buyer's expectations, that catalog specs are error-free, or that the site is uninterrupted. Ball database specs are reference information, not a promise about any individual ball.
To the extent the law allows, ReRack's total liability for any claim arising from a transaction is limited to the amounts paid for that order, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes not resolved through our own process belong in the state or federal courts located there.
We'll update this page when the rules change and move the effective date at the top. Material changes get notice by email to account holders. Continuing to use ReRack after a change means you accept it; an order already placed is always governed by the terms in force when it was placed.
