Intellectual property & takedowns

Email support@rerackbowling.com with “Takedown” in the subject. To act quickly we need:

• What work or mark you own, and enough detail to identify it.
• The ReRack URL of the material you say infringes it — a link to the specific listing or page, not a search result.
• Your name, address, and a contact email or phone number.
• A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for them.
• Your signature, physical or electronic.

We remove or disable access to material that is the subject of a complete notice, and we tell the user whose material it was. A user who believes the removal was a mistake may send a counter-notice to the same address, and we'll pass it on.

Repeat infringers lose their accounts.

Every photograph on a ReRack listing was uploaded by the person selling that ball, who is responsible for having the right to use it. Sellers must photograph their own equipment — reusing a manufacturer's product photography, another seller's listing photos, or an image found online is a listing violation as well as somebody else's copyright claim.

ReRack does not use manufacturer product imagery anywhere. Not on ball pages, not in the catalog, not in marketing. That is a deliberate constraint in the data pipeline, not an oversight to be corrected later.

Ball specifications — RG, differential, core name, coverstock, factory finish, weights — are facts, compiled from manufacturer publications and other public sources. Facts are not copyrightable, and a compilation of them is ours to publish.

What we deliberately never copy is a manufacturer's prose — marketing descriptions, product write-ups, the paragraph on a ball's launch page. Those are theirs. The catalog stores numbers and names; it holds no descriptive text at all, and the pipeline refuses to write any.

If you publish ball specifications and believe we have taken something beyond the facts, write to us with the specifics and we'll look at what we hold and where it came from — every fact in the database carries its source.

Storm, Brunswick, Motiv, Hammer, Roto Grip, 900 Global, Columbia 300, Ebonite, Track, DV8, Radical, Swag and other marks belong to their owners. ReRack uses them to identify the equipment being sold and described — that is what the names are for, and it does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from the manufacturer.

A brand owner who believes a specific listing misuses their mark — a counterfeit, a re-badged ball, a relabelled one — should use the takedown address above. Counterfeits are also a prohibited listing and we act on those regardless of who reports them.
