Version 1.0 · Effective August 3, 2026
Your payment is held by ReRack — not paid to the seller — until 48 hours after the ball is delivered. That window is the protection: inside it, you can report a problem and the payout pauses while we look at it.
This page is the document your claim is decided against. It is also what the checkout screen shows you before you pay, so nothing here should be a surprise after the fact.
It starts when the ball is delivered — a carrier delivery scan, or your own I received it confirmation — and runs for 48 hours.
Your order page shows the exact expiry time. When it closes with no problem reported, the funds release to the seller automatically. Open the box and look at the ball the day it lands; the window is short by design and it is hard.
If tracking never shows delivery within 21 days of shipment, the order escalates to us automatically and the payout stays paused — you don't have to notice that yourself.
Condition claims are judged against the published grade definitions, which are binding — see the condition guide. The seller's chosen grade is a representation, not an impression.
We say this early and plainly because it is the most common disappointment in used-ball buying and the worst possible thing to learn at claim time. A used ball's reaction depends on your rev rate, your speed, the pattern you bowl on, and the surface the ball is currently at — none of which the seller controls.
Report from the order page inside the window, describe what's wrong, and include at least one photo that shows it. A blurry photo that shows the defect is fine; a sharp photo that doesn't show it isn't.
What helps, by claim type:
Ambiguity is our problem, not yours. If the evidence is unclear we may ask for better photos before deciding.
Reporting a problem pauses the payout immediately and notifies the seller with your evidence. ReRack support then resolves it one of three ways:
We decide in good faith on the evidence available: photos, the listing as it appeared when you bought it, messages between you and the seller, and carrier tracking.
Being honest about the current state of this: we do not yet offer partial refunds, prepaid return labels, or a formal appeal step. Those are on the roadmap. Today a claim resolves as a full refund, a release, or a dismissal.
ReRack is a venue. We don't own, possess, or inspect the ball, and buyer protection is a remedy we operate — not a warranty on someone else's goods. The full statement is in Disclaimers & Limitations.
